This beautiful kanjivaram sari in burnt orange shot with beige is handwoven with gold zari and green checks enclosing yali, peacock, chakaram and elephant motifs in gold zari, on the body. The borders in burnt orange shot with rust orange have diamond and thuthiripoo patterns in gold zari, with bands in burgundy. The pallu is interlocked using the 'benth' technique and features a diamond band edged by horse, yali and geometric motifs all in gold zari woven using the 'adai' technique.
