Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 20-040-HS001-01721

This sari is from Kanakavalli’s Reiya collective that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter soft hand feel.

This beautiful kanjivaram sari in bottle green is handwoven with floral motifs in gold zari, dotted on the body. The korvai borders in black have moplah bands, rudraksham, vanki(chevron) and geometric patterns in gold zari and bottle green. The pallu in the same colour as the borders feature a diamond band flanked by kuthirai(horse), mayil(peacock), manga(paisley), floral, rudraksham, twill, geometric and stylised leaf motifs in gold zari and bottle green.
