Kanakavalli Kanjivaram Silk Sari 19-110-HS001-01163

This sari is from Kanakavalli's Reiya collective of kanjivarams that have undergone a series of hand processes to soften and age the drape. It is marked by age-muted zari, and a sumptuous bodied but butter-soft hand feel.

This elegant kanjivaram sari in a dual shade of deep burgundy is handwoven with bands and stripes in gold and silver zari, forming a checkered pattern on the body. The borders have geometric bands in gold zari, along with a selvedge in maroon. The pallu features seeprekku pattern and alternating stripes in gold zari.
