This kanjivaram in beige shot with cream features twill checks in gold zari on the body enclosing classic annam buttas in gold zari. The borders are adorned with classic details, including moplah lines, muthu seeru, delicate bugodi triangles, poun or traditional coin motifs, kann (eye) patterns, and contrasting seeru lines, in gold, rust brown and green, accenting the dramatic geometry of the drape. The pallu features classic yali motifs, constructed for an adai loom, alongside iruthalai pakshis enclosed within arches known as maadams, all in gold zari. The palette of the kanjivaram features thoughtfully selected contrast and complementary colours, ranging from the traditional to the contemporary.
