This unique silk cotton gadwal sari in deep ruby red is handwoven with checks in sage green and pearl grey, with a silk warp and cotton weft on the body. The temple korvai borders in a dual shade of green have geometric patterns in gold, along with bands in blue and deep burgundy. The pallu mirrors the colours and patterns of the borders. Both the borders and pallu are in silk.
