This unique silk cotton gadwal sari is handwoven with checks in bright yellow, pale yellow, sky blue and deep sky blue, with a silk warp and cotton weft on the body. The temple korvai borders in ink blue have geometric patterns in zari, along with bands in scarlet red and bright yellow. The pallu mirrors the colours and patterns of the borders in zari, bright yellow and scarlet red. Both the borders and pallu are in silk.
