This unique kanjivaram sari in blue grey shot with black is handwoven with checks, peacock and chakaram motifs in gold zari, all over the body. The broad border has twill, peacock, chakaram, mythical animal and geometric motifs in gold zari; while the small border has twill and geometric motifs in gold zari, both having a selvedge in purple. The pallu features a diamonds band flanked by peacock, chakaram, mythical animal, geometric and stylised leaf patterns also in gold zari.
