Navratri : Nine Days Of Colour

The season of celebration is upon us, and Kanakavalli is celebrating with Navratri, a special colour curation of bridal and trousseau kanjivarams. Each of the festival's nine days is dedicated to an avatar of the goddess and the auspicious colour she is associated with.  Each colour is rich in significance, rooted in culture and spirituality, and gorgeous on the lush silks of our kanjivarams.

Imagining a bridal party selection in color themes taken from the nine nights of Navratri, we create a cohesive look book based on each hue, within the gamut of the kanjivaram craft. We take you through white, red,blue, yellow and green, as well as grey, orange, purple and pink, bringing together rich jewel tones and more contemporary pastels - a palette perfect for a festive and wedding wardrobe.
